Thirty Seconds To Mars

On the final night of their tour, Thirty Seconds To Mars celebrate in Cardiff Utilita Arena. It was well and truly a jam-packed show. With pyro, confetti, bouncy balls and an amazing crowd, it was a very fun evening. They played a real good mixed bag of their albums, from their biggest hits to their new album ‘It’s the End of the World but It’s a Beautiful Day’, which is a lot more boppy compared to their previous releases. Their setlist included songs like ‘Kings and Queens’, ‘Up in the Air’, ‘From Yesterday’, ‘The Kill (Bury Me)’ and ‘Attack’ – a personal favourite of mine.

They’re such an entertaining band to watch. The last time I saw them was back in a Cardiff 2010 and it’s been well worth the wait, and I felt like I was thrown back to 14 years ago. They love to get their fans onto the stage and, oh my goodness, there must’ve been 30-40 people on stage as they played out to their track ‘Closer to the Edge’ – crazy!

To see Jared Leto interacting with some of the youngest fans on the runway was so heartwarming and wholesome. It was a lovely way to end the show and their fantastic tour.

If they return to Cardiff, I’d definitely be back to see them again in a heartbeat.
