Following a huge year for one of heavy metal’s most influential bands, GRAMMY® Award-winning thrash metal legends Megadeth have announced the European leg of their multi-year farewell headline tour, Breakout: Hibernation Of The Nations.

The 24-date arena tour will kick off on 9 March 2027 in Belfast, before travelling across the UK and mainland Europe, with stops in cities including [add key dates if needed], before wrapping up on 13 April 2027 in Lisbon, Portugal.

Joining Megadeth throughout the tour will be fellow metal heavyweights Black Label Society and Testament, making the run one of the biggest heavy metal touring line-ups of 2027.

The announcement comes after another landmark chapter in Megadeth’s incredible career, following the release of their seventeenth and final studio album. The record debuted at No.1 on the Billboard 200, marking the band’s first-ever album to reach the top spot and further cementing their status as one of metal’s most respected and enduring acts.

The upcoming European dates will give fans across the continent another chance to experience Megadeth’s legendary live show, celebrating more than four decades of groundbreaking music, iconic riffs and unforgettable anthems.

Rather than a single farewell run, Megadeth’s final chapter is being celebrated as a multi-year, multi-continent journey, giving fans around the world the opportunity to come together and experience the band live one more time.
