Irish rock band Fontaines D.C. will embark on a UK arena tour in November 2026 plus support from CHALK.

Fontaines D.C. is an Irish post-punk band from Dublin and have become one of the most exciting and influential bands to emerge from the UK and Ireland in recent years, constantly evolving their sound while staying true to their distinctive identity.
The band, made up of Grian Chatten, Carlos O’Connell, Conor Curley, Conor Deegan and Tom Coll, first came together in Dublin and quickly made a name for themselves with their raw, poetic take on post-punk. Their debut album, ‘Dogrel’, arrived in 2019, introducing their gritty sound and Chatten’s unmistakable vocals to a growing international audience.
They followed it with ‘A Hero’s Death’ in 2020, before reaching No. 1 in both the UK and Ireland with 2022’s ‘Skinty Fia’. The album saw the band explore themes of Irish identity, belonging and life away from home, while tracks including ‘Jackie Down The Line’ and ‘I Love You’ became some of their biggest songs.
In 2024, Fontaines D.C. returned with ‘Romance’, marking another major shift in their sound. Produced by James Ford, the album moved beyond their post-punk roots, bringing in elements of shoegaze, hip-hop and electronic music. It became their highest-charting album in the UK and earned widespread critical acclaim, while ‘Favourite’ became one of their most popular tracks to date.
Rather than settling on a signature sound, Fontaines D.C. have continued to push themselves with every record. Their music has become bigger and more ambitious, but the band’s ability to combine powerful melodies with sharp, often deeply personal songwriting remains at its heart.
With a reputation for electrifying live performances and some of the most acclaimed albums of their generation, Fontaines D.C. have firmly established themselves as one of the leading alternative bands of the modern era.

Fontaines D.C. have announced their biggest headline tour to date, with extensive shows across Europe and the UK in autumn 2026.
The European run will see the band visit Madrid, Barcelona, Bologna, Belgrade, Prague, Łódź, Berlin, Stockholm, Oslo, Copenhagen, Amsterdam, Antwerp and Paris, before heading to the UK for six dates in Liverpool, Manchester, Glasgow, Leeds, Birmingham and London. Fans in Ireland have also been told to stay tuned for more live news soon.
The tour announcement comes ahead of a busy festival weekend for Fontaines D.C., who have headline slots scheduled at Reading & Leeds Festival and Electric Picnic.
The band will release ‘Dopamine Chamber’ on 16 October 2026 via XL Recordings. Produced by James Ford, the album follows 2024s UK Platinum-certified ‘Romance’ and sees the band continue to move away from the guitar-led sound of their earlier work.
The new record marks another major step forward for Fontaines D.C., who have continued to reinvent themselves across five albums, from their debut ‘Dogrel’ and ‘A Hero’s Death’ to the UK and Ireland No. 1 ‘Skinty Fia’ and the acclaimed ‘Romance’.
Now, the band are taking that evolution on the road with their biggest headline tour yet.
