Artist Bio:
Bon Jovi are one of the biggest rock bands of all time, known for their arena-sized sound, memorable choruses and a catalogue of songs that have become part of rock history. Formed in New Jersey in 1983, the band are led by frontman Jon Bon Jovi, alongside keyboardist David Bryan and drummer Tico Torres, with guitarist Phil X and bassist Hugh McDonald also part of the current line-up.
The band broke through internationally in the 1980s with their third album, ‘Slippery When Wet’, which featured the hit singles ‘Livin’ On A Prayer’ and ‘You Give Love A Bad Name’. Both became defining rock anthems, helping establish Bon Jovi as one of the leading bands of their generation. They followed this success with albums including ‘New Jersey’, ‘Keep the Faith’ and ‘These Days’, building a loyal following on both sides of the Atlantic.
Bon Jovi continued to evolve their sound over the years, moving between hard rock, arena anthems and more reflective songwriting. Their 2000 hit ‘It’s My Life’ introduced the band to a new generation of fans, while songs such as ‘Always’, ‘Bed of Roses’ and ‘Have a Nice Day’ became lasting favourites. Across their career, they have released a string of successful albums and performed thousands of concerts around the world.
With more than 130 million albums sold worldwide, Bon Jovi have earned their place among rock’s most successful acts. Their achievements include induction into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame and the Songwriters Hall of Fame, alongside a GRAMMY Award win and numerous other honours.
In 2024, the band released ‘FOREVER’, followed in 2025 by ‘FOREVER (Legendary Edition)’, which reimagined songs from the album with a range of special guests, including Bruce Springsteen, Robbie Williams, Avril Lavigne, Lainey Wilson and Jelly Roll.
After returning to the stage in 2026 for major shows in the UK, Ireland and the US, Bon Jovi are continuing their live comeback with a headline appearance at American Express presents BST Hyde Park on 24 June 2027. More than four decades after their formation, their songs continue to bring generations of rock fans together.
Artist News:
Bon Jovi are returning to London next summer, with the rock legends announced as the first headliners for American Express presents BST Hyde Park 2027. The band will take to the stage on Thursday 24 June, marking their return to the festival for the first time since headlining its inaugural show in 2013.
The announcement follows a huge summer for Bon Jovi, who brought their Forever Tour to the UK and Ireland in 2026. The band played sold-out shows in Dublin and Edinburgh before wrapping up the run with three sold-out nights at London’s Wembley Stadium, giving fans a long-awaited chance to see them back on stage.
Their return to Hyde Park will bring another opportunity to hear the songs that have made Bon Jovi one of rock’s most enduring bands. With a catalogue packed with classics, including ‘Livin’ On A Prayer’, ‘You Give Love A Bad Name’ and ‘It’s My Life’, fans can look forward to a night of big choruses and familiar anthems in one of London’s best-known outdoor concert settings.
Bon Jovi last headlined BST Hyde Park in 2013, opening the festival with a show that helped set the tone for the years that followed. Their 2027 appearance will see them return to the same stage more than a decade later, bringing their latest chapter to a London crowd.
The show follows the release of ‘FOREVER (Legendary Edition)’ in 2025, which revisits songs from the band’s ‘FOREVER’ album with a range of guest artists, including Bruce Springsteen, Robbie Williams, Avril Lavigne, Lainey Wilson and Jelly Roll.
“We have a storied history with performing at Hyde Park on previous tours and it’s a full circle moment to be returning to BST Hyde Park, 14 years after headlining the very first festival,” said Jon Bon Jovi. “The Forever Tour has been an incredible celebration of the music and the fans who have been with us all these years. There’s nothing quite like the energy of a UK crowd, and the joy and excitement we shared with our fans this summer was something truly special. To bring that energy back to Hyde Park means a lot to us. We’re grateful for every one of you and can’t wait to make more memories together.”
