Artist Bio:
Good Charlotte are one of the most influential bands to emerge from the pop-punk boom of the early 2000s. Formed by twin brothers Joel Madden and Benji Madden alongside Paul Thomas and Billy Martin, the band rose from humble beginnings in Waldorf, Maryland, to become global rock superstars.
Across a career spanning nearly three decades, Good Charlotte have sold more than 11 million albums worldwide and delivered era-defining hits including ‘Lifestyles Of The Rich & Famous’ and ‘The Anthem’. With more than 2.3 billion streams to date, seven RIAA-certified releases, six Top 10 Alternative Radio singles and four Billboard Hot 100 Top 20 hits, the band continue to leave a lasting mark on modern rock music.
Their latest album, ‘Motel Du Cap’, marks another bold chapter for the group, showcasing the raw honesty, authenticity and anthemic songwriting that have defined Good Charlotte throughout their career.
Artist News:
Good Charlotte are set to close out this year’s Slam Dunk Festival with a huge headline performance on the main stage. As the UK’s biggest independent pop-punk, rock and alternative festival celebrates its 20th anniversary, it feels fitting that one of the genre’s defining bands will top the bill. The performance will also mark Good Charlotte’s first UK live shows since 2019, making their return one of the most anticipated sets of the weekend.
The band have already enjoyed a triumphant 2026, recently wrapping up a sold-out Australian and New Zealand run as part of their Motel Du Cap World Tour. This summer, they will also head out across North America alongside Avenged Sevenfold, with A Day To Remember joining select dates, culminating in a major show at Los Angeles’ BMO Stadium.
Released last August, ‘Motel Du Cap’ marked Good Charlotte’s long-awaited return with their first studio album in seven years. Written by Benji and Joel Madden alongside Mattias Bylund, and produced by Zakk Cervini and Jordan Fish, the record sees the band reconnect with their pop-punk roots while pushing their sound into new territory through sharp riffs, introspective songwriting and a defiant energy.
The album campaign has included high-profile performances on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon and the Good Morning America Summer Concert Series, further cementing Good Charlotte’s electrifying return.
