Artist Bio:

Nickelback are one of the most successful rock bands of the modern era, known for their huge choruses, memorable guitar riffs and a catalogue of songs that have become staples of rock radio. Formed in Hanna, Alberta, Canada, the band feature Chad Kroeger, Ryan Peake, Mike Kroeger and Daniel Adair.

The band began building their following in the 1990s before breaking through internationally with their third studio album, ‘Silver Side Up’, in 2001. The record featured ‘How You Remind Me’, which became a worldwide hit and helped establish Nickelback as one of the biggest rock acts of the early 2000s.

They followed that success with albums including ‘The Long Road’, ‘All the Right Reasons’ and ‘Dark Horse’, producing some of their best-known songs along the way. Tracks such as ‘Photograph’, ‘Someday’, ‘Far Away’, ‘Rockstar’, ‘Animals’ and ‘Gotta Be Somebody’ helped the band reach audiences well beyond the traditional rock scene.

Nickelback have sold nearly 65 million albums worldwide and accumulated billions of streams, making them one of the most commercially successful rock bands of their generation. Their achievements include a Grammy Award nomination, multiple other industry nominations and inductions into the Canadian Music Hall of Fame. They have also received Diamond certifications in Canada and from the RIAA in the United States.

A major part of Nickelback’s appeal has always been their live show. Their arena tours bring together hard-hitting rock songs, singalong choruses and fan favourites, with their Get Rollin’ World Tour becoming the fastest-selling and highest-attended tour of their career.

The band’s story has also reached a wider audience through the Netflix documentary ‘Hate to Love: Nickelback’, which explored their rise to fame, the criticism they have faced and their lasting relationship with fans.

More than three decades into their career, Nickelback continue to make music and tour internationally. Their 11th studio album, ‘Everything Under The Sun’, sees the band move into another chapter, combining the big rock sound that made them famous with more personal songwriting. With a back catalogue full of familiar hits and new music on the way, they remain a major force on the international rock scene.
