Since dropping their debut album ‘Life In A Day’ in 1979, the Scottish rockers have topped the charts on both sides of the Atlantic and sold over 60 million records worldwide. Some of their biggest hits include ‘Alive And Kicking’, ‘Promised You A Miracle’, ‘Waterfront’, ‘Someone Somewhere In Summertime’ and ‘Don’t You (Forget About Me)’, which featured on The Breakfast Club soundtrack.

Simple Minds are fronted by founder members Jim Kerr (vocals) and Charlie Burchill (guitar).

The band’s most recent live album ‘Live In The City Of Angels’ released on 04 October 2019. Additionally, to further mark their 40th anniversary celebrations, Simple Minds dropped their career-spanning compilation ‘40: The Best Of – 1979-2019’ on 01 November 2019.
