Artist Bio:

Blossoms are one of the UK’s most successful indie-pop bands, renowned for their infectious melodies, sharp songwriting and unmistakable synth-driven sound. Formed in Stockport in 2013, the five-piece consists of Tom Ogden, Charlie Salt, Josh Dewhurst, Joe Donovan and Myles Kellock.

The band burst onto the scene with a string of acclaimed singles before releasing their self-titled debut album in 2016, which reached No.1 on the UK Albums Chart. Since then, Blossoms have become a mainstay of British guitar music, earning multiple chart-topping albums and a devoted fanbase across the UK and beyond.

Known for hit tracks including ‘Charlemagne’, ‘There’s A Reason Why (I Never Returned Your Calls)’, ‘Your Girlfriend’ and ‘I Can’t Stand It’, Blossoms have continually evolved their sound while maintaining the catchy hooks and witty lyricism that first brought them widespread attention.

Celebrated for their energetic live performances, the Stockport outfit have headlined major venues and festivals throughout the UK, cementing their reputation as one of Britain’s leading modern indie bands. With a catalogue spanning chart success, critical acclaim and fan favourites, Blossoms continue to be one of the most exciting acts on the UK live music scene.

Artist News:

Blossoms have announced details of their sixth studio album, ‘Songs From The Wedding Cake’, which is set for release on 02 October 2026 via ODD SK/Distiller Records.

The forthcoming record follows the band’s chart-topping 2024 album ‘Gary’, its companion release ‘Gary’s Covers’, and the subsequent deluxe edition. Recorded at Tilehouse Studios with producer Shawn Lee of Young Gun Silver Fox, the new album is said to be the band’s most ambitious and personal collection of songs to date.

The album title takes inspiration from a local nickname for Stockport’s iconic Victorian Town Hall, where frontman Tom Ogden was married, adding a personal connection to the project.

Alongside the announcement, Blossoms have unveiled their latest single, ‘Meet Me In Love’. The upbeat, disco-infused track continues the shimmering pop sound the band have explored on recent releases and features backing vocals from fellow British singer-songwriter Declan McKenna.

The single arrives with an accompanying music video directed by Ogden, starring broadcaster Maya Jama and actor Callum Scott-Howells.

‘Meet Me In Love’ follows the release of ‘Joke About Divorce’, which landed earlier this year and offered fans an early glimpse of the band’s next chapter.

With a new album on the horizon and fresh music already making waves, Blossoms look set to continue their impressive run as one of the UK’s leading indie-pop acts.
