Chase & Status are one of the most influential names in UK electronic music, with a career spanning more than two decades. The duo have built a reputation for pushing the boundaries of drum and bass while bringing together elements of electronic music, hip hop, rock and other sounds to create their distinctive style.
Formed in London by Saul Milton and Will Kennard, Chase & Status first emerged in the early 2000s and quickly established themselves as major figures in the UK dance scene. Their music has consistently evolved throughout their career, allowing them to connect with different generations of electronic music fans while remaining closely linked to the underground scenes that influenced them.
Their catalogue includes tracks such as ‘Blind Faith’, ‘No More Idols’, ‘End Credits’, ‘Time’, ‘Alive’ and ‘Baddadan’, with the latter becoming one of their biggest recent hits and helping introduce their sound to a new generation of listeners.
Chase & Status have also become a major force on the live circuit, known for high-energy performances and headline shows at some of the UK’s biggest venues and festivals. Their influence extends beyond their own music too, with the duo having worked with artists across a wide range of genres and played an important role in bringing drum and bass further into the mainstream.

Chase & Status have announced a new UK and European arena tour for 2027, bringing their next chapter to some of the biggest venues across the continent.
The tour announcement follows news of Chase & Status’ forthcoming album, ‘Generic Everything’, which is due out for release on 09 October 2026. The 10-track record features an impressive line-up of collaborators including J Hus, Little Simz, Skrillex, Giggs, D Double E, Blanco, IRAH, Col3trane, Debbie, Saam Sultan, Finesse Kid and Ledbyher.
‘Generic Everything’ marks a new chapter for the duo, with the album built around the idea of resisting conformity in an increasingly similar creative landscape. Across the record, Chase & Status move between rave, rap, soundsystem culture and electronic music, bringing together a wide range of artists and influences while retaining the distinctive production that has shaped their sound.
The new tour will bring the album to the live stage, following a sold-out UK arena tour and their huge takeover of Milton Keynes National Bowl. The 2027 dates will see Chase & Status return to major UK arenas while taking their new material to audiences across Europe.
The announcement comes during another significant period for the duo. ‘Baddadan’ spent more than 15 weeks in the UK Top 10 and achieved Platinum certification, while ‘BACKBONE’, their collaboration with Stormzy, became Chase & Status’ first UK No.1 single. They have also been recognised with a BRIT Award for British Producer of the Year.
Their momentum has continued throughout 2026, with new collaborations including ‘Through The Pain’ with Pozer, ‘Doin It More’ with Blade Brown and ‘Homework’ with Lancey Foux. They have also taken their live show to some major stages, including a headline performance at the Formula 1 British Grand Prix at Silverstone, a surprise B2B set with Skrillex at Boomtown and a Main Stage headline appearance at Reading & Leeds.
Alongside their arena shows, Chase & Status have continued to develop SECTION 63, their live concept inspired by underground club culture. Following events in London and Tilburg, the concept has also travelled to Australia, highlighting the duo’s continued drive to push the boundaries of their live performances.
