American Express presents BST Hyde Park: Duran Duran

Duran Duran are the final headliners to join the line-up for BST Hyde Park this summer – they will be supported by Gwen Stefani, Nile Rodgers & CHIC plus more TBA.
The iconic group comprises of singer Simon Le Bon, keyboardist Nick Rhodes, bassist John Taylor and drummer Roger Taylor. Together they have sold more than 100 million records as well as achieved 21 UK Top 20 hits and 18 US hit singles. Currently in the studio working on the follow-up to their 2015 release ‘Paper Gods’, the band is rumoured to release what will be their 15th studio album sometime towards the end of this summer.

Triple platinum superstar Post Malone is the next BST headliner to be confirmed with special guests still to be announced.
After huge success on the UK charts, the innovative artist will bring his unique blend of hip-hop, pop and trap to London this summer. Malone’s massive singles ‘Rockstar’ ft. 21 Savage and ‘Psycho’ ft. Ty Dolla $ign amassed over two billion combined streams and went 13-times platinum. His 2018 release ‘Beerbongs & Bentleys’ smashed Spotify records for ‘most streams of songs on an album in the US’, accumulating approximately 48 million plays in the US on the first day.
In addition to collaborating with some of the biggest names in music, he has received six Grammy Award nominations as well as his first at the BRITs, where he is up for International Male Solo Artist at this year’s ceremony.

Hip hop royalty Kendrick Lamar has joined the line-up plus Mercury Prize-winning James Blake and Alabama Shakes’ Brittany Howard with more acts still TBA.
The innovative US tapper, songwriter, producer, poet, musician and multiple Grammy Award winner will close the first weekend of BST. Considered by fans and critics alike as one of the most skilled and successful recording artists of all time, Kendrick Lamar is also one of the world’s most decorated.
His long list of music accolades includes an incredible 173 awards from 390 nominations, including 13 x Grammy Awards, six x Billboard Music Awards and the ASCAP Vanguard Award for his work as a composer. Kendrick also became the first non-classical or jazz artist to receive the prestigious Pulitzer Prize for music in 2018.

Attention Swifties! One of the biggest pop stars in the world is set to light up the BST stage this summer.
That’s right, Taylor Swift is heading back to London to headline Hyde Park in 2020. The singer recently dropped her highly anticipated new album, featuring hit singles ‘ME!’, ‘You Need to Clam Down’ and title track ‘Lover’. The record is her fourth UK No.1 album to date.
Renowned for her legendary live shows, which more than often include huge surprise guests and incredible stage sets designs – who could forget Taylor soaring over Hyde Park on a giant rotating bridge back in 2015 – it’s sure to be an unforgettable night!

Friday 10 July
Pearl Jam will be joined by special guests Pixies, IDLES and White Reaper.
The band’s European summer tour will also include festival stops at Lollapalooza in Stockholm and Paris as well as Belgium’s Rock Werchter.
October 2015 marked 25 years of Pearl Jam performing live. They have sold over 85 million albums worldwide and were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2017.

Little Mix will be joined by special guests Rita Ora, Kesha and Zara Larsson plus more TBA.
The biggest girl band in the world are the first headliner to be confirmed for BST Hyde Park 2020! The group supported the legendary Tom Jones back in 2014 and will return next year in the headline slot they deserve.
The pop superstars have released five albums and a long list of hit tracks including ‘Black Magic’, ‘Shout Out To My Ex’, ‘Power’, ‘Touch’ and ‘Secret Love Song’. They have collaborated with the likes of Nicki Minaj, Stormzy, Missy Elliott and Jason Derulo, taken home 2 BRIT Awards and achieved four UK No.1 singles.
