Artist Bio:

Kings of Leon are an American rock band formed in Nashville, Tennessee, made up of brothers Caleb, Nathan and Jared Followill and their cousin Matthew Followill. Over more than two decades, they have built a global following with their distinctive blend of southern rock, alternative rock and arena-ready anthems.

The band released their debut album, ‘Youth and Young Manhood’, in 2003, introducing their raw, bluesy sound to audiences in the US and UK. They quickly followed it with albums including ‘Aha Shake Heartbreak’ and ‘Because of the Times’, gradually expanding their sound and audience.

Their major breakthrough came with 2008’s ‘Only by the Night’, which turned Kings of Leon into global stars. The album produced some of their best-known songs, including ‘Sex on Fire’ and ‘Use Somebody’, with both tracks becoming huge international hits.

‘Only by the Night’ was followed by a run of successful albums including ‘Come Around Sundown’, ‘Mechanical Bull’, ‘Walls’ and ‘When You See Yourself’. Across their career, Kings of Leon have picked up multiple Grammy Awards, BRIT Awards and other accolades, while selling millions of records around the world.

Their songs have become a regular fixture on UK radio and festival stages, with tracks such as ‘Use Somebody’, ‘Sex on Fire’, ‘Pyro’, ‘Supersoaker’ and ‘Waste a Moment’ remaining firm favourites with fans.

Kings of Leon have also built a reputation as a major live act, performing at some of the world’s biggest festivals and venues.

With three generations of the Followill family at the heart of the band, Kings of Leon have maintained a distinctive identity throughout their career while continuing to evolve their sound.

Artist News:

Kings of Leon are heading back to the UK in 2027, with the band announcing a major London show at The O2 arena in summer 2027 as part of their ‘O My Beloved’ Summer 2027 tour.

The show will form part of The O2’s 20th birthday celebrations and will be Kings of Leon’s first London performance since their record breaking fifth night at Hyde Park back in 2024.

The London date follows the announcement of the band’s 10th studio album, ‘O My Beloved’, due out for release on 06 November 2026. The new record marks another chapter for the Nashville-formed rock band, who have spent more than two decades building a huge international following.

The O2 will be the only UK arena date on the summer 2027 tour, making the London show a particularly significant date for fans. Two additional outdoor shows in northern England are also set to be announced later this month.

Kings of Leon have become one of the biggest rock bands of their generation, with a catalogue spanning more than 20 years and hits including ‘Sex on Fire’, ‘Use Somebody’, ‘The Bucket’, ‘Notion’ and ‘Waste a Moment’.

The band’s return to London will give fans the chance to hear songs from ‘O My Beloved’ alongside the tracks that have made Kings of Leon one of the most successful rock acts of the 21st century.
