The Script have shared new single ‘Dare You To Doubt Me’.

Set to uplifting music and frontman Danny O’Donoghue’s soaring vocals, the message of the powerful track is simple: if someone doubts you, don’t be disheartened – stay determined, do your best, and you’ll prove them wrong.

Danny commented, “With everything going on in the world we want to spread a positive message that no matter how hard things are, we’ll all come out the other end bigger, better and stronger. Don’t think so? Well, I dare you to doubt me!”

The song was penned by Danny and bandmate Mark Sheehan around the opening days of this summer’s Greatest Hits arena tour, alongside co-writers and regular collaborators Jimbo Barry and David Lucius King as well as Toby Gad. It was subsequently produced by Jimbo Barry, Danny and Mark.

The band premiered the song at their Dublin show at the 3Arena, where it received a rapturous reception. Soon after fans flooded their social media to find out when the track would be officially released – and now the moment has finally arrived!

The Script are due to hit the road once again later this month as they take their tour to Australia and Asia before heading to Europe in November.
