Take That have been at the heart of British pop for more than three decades, building a career packed with huge hits, record-breaking tours and some of the most memorable moments in UK music.

Originally formed in Manchester in 1990, Take That quickly became one of the biggest pop groups of the decade. The original line-up of Gary Barlow, Howard Donald, Mark Owen, Robbie Williams and Jason Orange scored a run of chart-topping singles including ‘Pray’, ‘Relight My Fire’, ‘Everything Changes’ and ‘Never Forget’, before splitting in 1996.

The band returned in 2005, initially as a four-piece without Robbie Williams, and quickly proved that their popularity had not gone anywhere. Their comeback album, ‘Beautiful World’, produced the huge hits ‘Patience’, ‘Shine’ and ‘Rule The World’, while subsequent albums including ‘The Circus’, ‘Progress’ and ‘III’ continued their run of success.

Robbie Williams briefly reunited with the group for 2010’s ‘Progress’, which became the UK’s fastest-selling album of the 21st century at the time. Take That have since continued as a trio of Barlow, Donald and Owen, releasing further albums including ‘Wonderland’ and ‘This Life’.

The band have also built a reputation as one of the UK’s biggest live acts, regularly playing stadiums and arenas and bringing their spectacular productions to fans across the country.

With countless BRIT Awards, No.1 albums and singles behind them, Take That remain one of Britain’s most enduring pop groups. More than 30 years after they first burst onto the scene, their songs continue to be passed from one generation to the next.

Take That have announced a huge European tour for 2027, just weeks after wrapping up their mammoth ‘The Circus Live’ stadium run across the UK and Ireland.

The Manchester band, now performing as the trio of Gary Barlow, Mark Owen and Howard Donald, had been teasing fans with news of a major announcement and have now revealed the first wave of dates for their 2027 ‘The Dreamers Tour’.

The tour will be Take That’s biggest European run in years, with 31 shows across 31 cities in 16 countries. The band have also promised that more dates will be announced in the coming weeks, with further shows expected throughout summer 2027.

For UK and Irish fans, the first confirmed dates are currently Belfast’s Belsonic festival at Ormeau Park and Thomond Park in Limerick in summer 2027.

The tour will feature a mix of outdoor shows, festivals and performances at some of Europe’s most iconic venues. Fans can expect to hear songs from the band’s upcoming 10th studio album, ‘Dreamers’, alongside some of the classic hits that have made Take That one of the UK’s most successful pop groups.

The new album is due to arrive in the coming weeks, with the band set to release their next single, ‘Feel My Love’, on 04 September 2027. The track features Irish-American singer-songwriter Michael Patrick Kelly and follows recent releases ‘You’re A Superstar’ and ‘Sweet July’.

The announcement comes after another huge year for Take That. Their Netflix documentary, ‘Take That’, went straight to No.1 when it was released in February, while ‘The Circus Live’ tour sold more than 736,000 tickets across the UK and Ireland.

One of the band’s Manchester shows at the Etihad Stadium was also livestreamed by Amazon Music, becoming the most-watched UK live-streamed performance to date.

With more 2027 dates still to come, Take That are showing no signs of slowing down. The band have promised further announcements in the coming weeks, giving fans plenty more to look forward to.
