Ellie Goulding has announced details of her highly anticipated sixth studio album, ‘I Know Too Much’, due out for release on 04 September 2026.

The new record marks the follow-up to her 2023 album ‘Higher Than Heaven’, which topped the UK Albums Chart and delivered some of the singer’s biggest hits in recent years. Fans won’t have to wait long to hear a preview of the project, with new single ‘Black Prada Dress’ arriving this Friday (05 June).

The track has already generated excitement following its live debut during BBC Radio 1’s Big Weekend in Sunderland last month. Goulding is also set to perform the song on Later… with Jools Holland on BBC Two this Sunday (07 June), giving audiences another early taste of the forthcoming album.

Announcing the news on social media, the BRIT Award-winning singer shared the album’s artwork and release date with fans. While anticipation continues to build, it remains unclear whether her 2025 single ‘Destiny’ will feature on the final tracklist, which has yet to be revealed.

The album announcement caps off another busy year for Goulding. Earlier in 2025, she teamed up with American DJ and producer Illenium on the track ‘Don’t Want Your Love’, which features on his latest album, ‘ODYSSEY’.

Over the course of her career, Ellie Goulding has established herself as one of the UK’s most successful pop artists. Since the release of her breakthrough debut album ‘Lights’ in 2010, she has achieved 10 platinum-certified singles, four UK No. 1 albums, two BRIT Awards, a Grammy Award nomination and a Golden Globe nomination.

Celebrating 15 years in music, Goulding has sold more than 44 million albums and 442 million singles worldwide. Her music has accumulated over 55 billion streams globally, including more than 15 billion streams on Spotify alone, making her one of the platform’s most-streamed female artists.

With ‘I Know Too Much’ now on the horizon and new music arriving this week, 2025 is shaping up to be another major chapter in Ellie Goulding‘s career.
