The Weeknd has shared brand new music video for latest single ‘Save Your Tears’, lifted from his 2020 album ‘After Hours’.

The Weeknd AKA Abel Tesfaye’s latest offering continues the storyline that first started in his video for ‘Hearltless’. After parting while high in Las Vegas, he hit the road bloodied and bruised in the anti drink-driving video for ‘Blinding Lights’ before eventually being decapitated in the visuals for ‘In Your Eyes’. In the follow-up video for track ‘Too Late’ his head is finally attached to someone else’s body.

Now, after numerous awards show appearances wearing facial bandages, all is revealed in the Cliqua directed visuals for ‘Save Your Tears’, with his latest physical transformation showcasing the results of a botched reconstructive surgery.

The clip arrives ahead of the Canadian singer-songwriter’s scheduled Super Bowl halftime show in February. Previous legendary performances have come from the likes of Jennifer Lopez and Shakira, Prince, Coldplay with Bruno Mars and Beyoncé, Lady Gaga and Maroon 5 with Travis Scott and Big Boi.

The Weeknd is also due to hit the road on a world tour this year, with stops in North America, Europe and the UK.
