Rihanna has announced new song ‘Lift Me Up’, which will feature on the soundtrack for Marvel’s upcoming movie Black Panther: Wakanda Forever.

The songstress confirmed speculation after unveiling a snippet of the track in a teaser clip on her social media channels.

‘Lift Me Up’ will mark Rihanna’s first new solo music since 2016s ‘Sledgehammer’ for Star Trek Beyond.

She has since collaborated on tracks with the likes of N.E.R.D., Future, Kendrick Lamar, DJ Khaled and Bryson Tiller, as well as Canada’s PARTYNEXTDOOR’s 2020 hit ‘Believe It’.

Rihanna’s most recent studio album is 2016s ‘ANTI’, which features singles ‘Work’, ‘Needed Me’ and ‘Kiss It Better’.

RiRi also recently confirmed that she will headline the next Super Bowl Half-Time show in February 2023.

‘Lift Me Up’ is due out for release this Friday (28 October), with Black Panther: Wakanda Forever due for cinema release on 11 November.
