reverend and the makers

Reverend & The Makers have shared new single ‘High’, the second track to be revealed from their forthcoming album ‘Heatwave In The Cold North’, due out on 28 April 2023.

‘High’ is the follow-up to the album’s title track ‘Heatwave In The Cold North’, which has become the band’s biggest hit in over a decade. As well as being added to Radio 2’s B list and named their Record of the Week, the song became a Top 10 UK airplay chart fixture as the summer came to a close.

With a career spanning two decades frontman Jon McClure and his collective of musicians first burst onto the British music scene with their Top 5 charting debut album ‘The State of Things’ in 2007, featuring UK Top 10 single ‘Heavyweight Champion of the World’.

The five albums since have all reached the Top 20 of the UK album charts to achieve an impressive unbroken run of six albums.
