Maxïmo Park have shared new single ‘All Of Me’, taken from upcoming album ‘Nature Always Wins’, due out on 26 February 2021.

Lead singer Paul Smith commented on the new single saying, “It’s a love song about the power of song itself, buoyed by the uplifting music in the chorus. It’s also about domesticity and family life being valid subject matter for a pop song. The more intimate verses are bits of advice to someone who has changed your perspective on life. Big themes!”

The track is the follow-up to the album’s lead single ‘Baby, Sleep’, recent standalone track ‘I Don’t Know What I’m Doing’ and previous surprise release ‘Child Of The Flatlands.

The album title pays tribute to the famous Nature vs Nurture debate. The frontman commented, “I’m so happy we were able to make this album during lockdown, as it’s been a challenging time for everyone. After almost 4 years since Risk To Exist, we wanted to explore new musical territory (for us) without sacrificing our trademark melodic twists and heartfelt lyrics. As always, the passing of time looms large, although the songs contain more affection for the past than before, and there are occasional hints of the fractious, divided time that we live in.

The band played their only live show for 2020 at Newcastle’s socially-distanced Virgin Money Arena. They have since confirmed that they will be hitting the road on a headline tour in 2021 in support of their new album.
