The announcement follows the release of Kehlani’s self-titled fifth studio album, which arrived via Atlantic Records on 24 April 2026, coinciding with the singer’s 31st birthday. Featuring guest appearances from Lil Wayne, Clipse, Brandy, Missy Elliott, Usher, Lil Jon, T-Pain, Cardi B, Big Sean and Leon Thomas, the record debuted at No.4 on the US Albums Chart. Lead single ‘Folded’, released last summer, became Kehlani’s biggest solo hit to date and marked her first Top 10 entry on the Billboard Hot 100.
The new record follows 2024’s ‘Crash’, which earned a Grammy nomination for Best Progressive R&B Album and topped the UK R&B Albums Chart. Since launching their solo career in 2014, Kehlani has established themselves as one of contemporary R&B’s leading voices, with five studio albums and four mixtapes achieving both critical acclaim and commercial success.
