Grace Carter has returned with brand new single ‘Pick Your Tears Up’ plus an accompanying music video.
The song is the first of much more new music to come from the singer-songwriter this year.
Discussing the track she commented, “Pick Your Tears Up is a song I wrote to myself. I wrote it at a time when I was empty, I had let too many people in and given too much of myself away to the point where I felt like I had nothing left. The thing I love so much about this song is that it feels different from me, but what makes it so special is that every instrument in it except the percussion was made using my voice at a time where I felt like I had completely lost my voice. This song felt like the start of me finding it again. In a way, I guess this song is the most “me” sounding thing I’ve ever made”.
One of the most striking young British voices in years, Grace Carter has dazzled audiences across the globe with her powerful voice and emotive lyrics.
Grace released her debut EP ‘Why Her Not Me’ back in 2018. Now just over four years later, her music has accumulated an incredible 300M plays on her catalogue so far.
She has played shows across the US, Asia and Europe as well as performed at various festivals including Glastonbury, Made In America, SXSW and Latitude. She has also supported the likes of HAIM, Dua Lipa, Lewis Capaldi and Jorja Smith on tour.
Grace Carter will play a very intimate sold-out headline show at Omeara in London on 17 April 2023.
