Artist Bio:
Electric Callboy are a German electronicore band known for their unique blend of metalcore, EDM, pop hooks and tongue-in-cheek humour. Formed in Castrop-Rauxel in 2010, the band have built a devoted global following thanks to their infectious energy, genre-defying sound and wildly creative music videos.
Originally performing under the name Eskimo Callboy, the group released their debut album ‘Bury Me in Vegas’ in 2012, quickly gaining attention within the European metal scene. Over the years, Electric Callboy have evolved their sound, combining crushing riffs and aggressive vocals with dance beats, synths and catchy choruses that have helped them reach audiences far beyond the traditional metalcore crowd.
The band’s popularity surged in the early 2020s with viral hits such as ‘Hypa Hypa’, ‘We Got The Moves’, ‘Pump It’ and ‘Spaceman’, the latter of which was shortlisted as a potential entry for Germany in the Eurovision Song Contest. Their 2022 album ‘TEKKNO’ became their most successful release to date, earning widespread acclaim and producing several fan-favourite singles.
Renowned for their high-energy live performances, the German electronicore favourites have become festival favourites across Europe, appearing at major events including Wacken Open Air, Download Festival and Rock am Ring. Their shows combine heavy music, dancefloor-ready anthems and an irreverent sense of fun that has become a hallmark of the band.
With a reputation for pushing boundaries and refusing to take themselves too seriously, Electric Callboy continue to stand out as one of modern metal’s most innovative and entertaining acts.
Artist News:
Electric Callboy will hit the road on a major European tour in early 2027 in support of their upcoming album ‘Tanzneid’, due out on 07 August via Century Media.
The tour announcement follows the band’s standout main stage performance at Download Festival 2026 last weekend.
Fans have already had a taste of what’s to come from ‘Tanzneid’ with the release of the album’s latest single, ‘Let The Good Times Roll’, featuring punk rock legends The Offspring.
The forthcoming album will mark Electric Callboy’s first full-length release since 2022’s ‘Tekkno’, which spawned a string of fan-favourite tracks and helped cement the band’s status as one of the most exciting live acts in modern metal.
