We have been waiting to catch the “Hollywood Gypsy” herself, Twinnie, since we saw her perform at the Black Deer Festival last year. And what an unusual venue to start her tour with. Rodeos in Birmingham is a country themed grill and bar with a rodeo bull! With a good size crowd, Twinnie dressed in a sparkling outfit, wowed her fans in Rodeos tonight.

Obviously playing quite a few new tracks of her forthcoming album, which incidentally went down really well with the line dancing crew, with a sassy almost diva-ish, Sabrina Carpenter/Maren Morris country pop delivery, she wowed everyone in the club. She really has a cracking voice, especially highlighted on some of the break-up ballads, ‘The Way I Loved You’, and a terrific version of ‘I Wanna Dance With Somebody’, complete with a slowed down intro. But when she picked up the pace again she never let it slow with Twinnie favourites like, ‘Hypothetically’, ‘Hollywood Gypsy’, ‘Girl In Your Songs’, ‘Better When I’m Drunk’ and the very catchy, ‘Giddy up’, which we are informed by Twinnie has been a top ten in many of the European countries but surprisingly not the UK!

Well, what a way to kick off a tour, with some dates sold out already, we know you’re in for a great night, and we hope to catch Twinnie later in the year at a few festivals. Born in Yorkshire, lives in Nashville, bound for stardom.
