The Circus Live, first staged in 2009, set UK records as the fastest-selling tour, with over 600,000 tickets sold in less than five hours and more than a million fans attending the sold-out shows across the UK and Ireland.
Take That, formed as a five-piece in 1989, quickly found success with their first two albums reaching No.2 and No.1 respectively. Their third album, ‘Nobody Else’, sold over six million copies and topped charts in 11 countries. After Robbie Williams left, the band split in 1996 but reunited as four members in 2005 for The Ultimate Tour.
This sparked one of the greatest comebacks in British music history with Take That going on to release three No.1 albums in just four years. Robbie’s return for 2011s ‘Progress’ saw them break UK records for the fastest-selling album of the 21st century and fastest-selling tour of all time. Williams’ second departure, along with that of Jason Orange, left the remaining three members to release ‘III’ and 2017s ‘Wonderland’, which were certified platinum and gold respectively.
Take That celebrated their 30th anniversary with 2018s ‘Odyssey’, a greatest hits album of beautifully re-imagined versions of some of the biggest tracks from their three-decade-spanning career. The album entered the charts at No.1 and was closely followed by a critically acclaimed UK and European stadium and arena tour in 2019.
In 2023 Take That released their ninth album, ‘This Life’, followed by a major world tour the following year. In 2024, the band held a four-day festival, The Greatest Weekend, in Malta’s Ta’ Qali, where they performed ‘Everything Changes’ live in full for the first time since 1993.
Don’t miss Take That when they hit the road next summer with the return of one of their biggest and most iconic live shows: The Circus Live!
