Moby has announced his 23rd studio album ‘Future Quiet’, due out on 20 February 2026 via BMG.
The release marks the latest chapter in a long and varied career, during which Moby has consistently pushed the boundaries of electronic, ambient, and experimental music while maintaining a deeply personal creative voice.
The 11-track full-length will be the follow-up to 2024s ‘Always Centered At Night’, and moves between sparse piano arrangements, ambient soundscapes, and various vocal contributions while reflecting on the impact of digital life and the growing desire for stillness.
Moby has also revealed lead single ‘When It’s Cold I’d Like To Die’ featuring Jacob Lusk of Gabriels. The song sees Moby revisiting one of the most emotionally powerful tracks from his back catalogue, with Lusk’s soulful vocal performance bringing a renewed sense of depth and intensity. The collaboration introduces a fresh interpretation while remaining true to the song’s original mood and intent.
The original version of the track was recorded with vocalist Mimi Goese and appears on Moby’s third album, 1995s ‘Everything Is Wrong’. Over the years, the track has remained a fan favourite and has recently found a new audience after appearing in seasons one and four of the hit Netflix series Stranger Things.
