Lewis Capaldi has returned with his first new single in two years, ‘Survive’.

The guitar-led, emotionally charged ballad arrives the same weekend as Glastonbury, sparking speculations that the Scottish singer-songwriter might be performing a secret set.

Lewis Capaldi last appeared at the festival in 2023, where he struggled to finish his set on the legendary Pyramid Stage. The performance went viral after the audience took over singing his 2019 global megahit ‘Someone You Loved’. Shortly after, he shared on social media that he would be taking a break from music to focus on his mental and physical health.

That same year he released his latest album, ‘Broken by Desire to Be Heavenly Sent‘, which went on to top the UK charts.

For his comeback single, he once again teamed up with Rømans, who co-wrote ‘Someone You Loved’. The track charted in over 29 countries and spent seven weeks at the top of the UK Singles Chart.
