Khalid commented, “This chapter is about taking my power back, living in my truth, and being able to express myself freely. I’m excited for my fans to experience this new era with me, not just musically, but personally.”

Named one of TIME’s Most Influential People in 2019, Khalid rose to global fame with his breakout single ‘Location’. The diamond-certified hit dropped just before he graduated high school and was followed by his debut album ‘American Teen’, which achieved 4x platinum status. In 2019, he released his critically acclaimed sophomore album ‘Free Spirit,’ featuring the Grammy-nominated, multi-format No.1 hit ‘Talk’.

With over 35 billion global streams and counting across all partners, he has been nominated for seven Grammys and won numerous awards including six Billboard Music Awards, four American Music Awards, two iHeartRadio Music Awards, and an MTV Video Music Award, among others. He was also honoured at the 71st Annual BMI Pop Awards with the Champion Award.

The American singer-songwriter has collaborated with some of music’s biggest stars including the likes of Normani, Halsey and Benny Blanco as well as Alicia Keys, Billie Eilish and Ed Sheeran.

In 2020, he was named the youngest artist to surpass 15 billion streams on Spotify alone and was named BMI’s Pop Songwriter of the Year. To close out 2021, Khalid released his ‘Scenic Drive’ mixtape, which he describes as a companion piece to his 2018 EP ‘Sun City’.

Khalid and Marshmello teamed up once again for 2022 summer single ‘Numb’ – their second collaboration following 2017s 6x platinum smash hit ‘SILENCE’.

In 2023, he featured on the official soundtrack for Greta Gerwig’s Barbie movie and joined Ed Sheeran in select cities across North America on his “+ – = ÷ x Tour.”

Khalid’s 2024 third album ‘Sincere’ showcased his evolution as an artist and person, and explored the all-too-relatable feelings of growing up.
