Florence + The Machine have announced new album ‘Everybody Scream’, due out on 31 October 2025.
The Halloween-bound sixth studio album will be the follow up to 2022s ‘Dance Fever’ and its 2023 expanded edition.
Florence Welch took to social media to share the full-length’s official cover art, pre-order links and title track, alongside an accompanying music video, directed by Autumn de Wilde.

After needing lifesaving surgery on the Dance Fever Tour, Florence’s recovery led her to explore spiritual mysticism and healing, with her album delving into themes of womanhood, partnership, aging and dying.
She wrote and produced the album over the past two years with a close-knit circle of collaborators including Mark Bowen of IDLES – who appears in the video for ‘Everybody Scream’ – Aaron Dessner and Mitski.
Welch previously posted a teaser video on Instagram, showing her frantically digging a hole in the ground before letting out a scream into it. Whilst the visual was not accompanied by any music, the Halloween-esque theme is clear.
Last month, the singer also dropped a few cryptic hints, including studio photos with Idles guitarist Mark Bowen and a whiteboard with the phrase “Swans vs. Adele.”
Across five albums; 2009s ‘Lungs’, 2011s ‘Ceremonials’, 2015s ‘How Big, How Blue, How Beautiful’, 2018s ‘High As Hope’ and 2022s ‘Dance Fever’, Florence has become one of the most monumental artists of a generation, with multiple US and UK No.1 albums and countless awards. Known for her earth-shattering live show and distinct voice, she has sold out shows and headlined festivals across the globe.
Since the release of ‘Dance Fever’, Florence + The Machine appeared on Taylor Swift’s ‘The Tortured Poets Department’ and the Weeknd’s ‘Hurry Up Tomorrow’. Welch also collaborated with Everything Is Recorded and covered No Doubt’s ‘Just A Girl’ for the hit series Yellowjackets soundtrack as well as Vera Lynn’s ‘The White Cliffs Of Dover’ for Jack Antonoff’s soundtrack to TV show The New Look.
