Dylan John Thomas

Dylan John Thomas has released new single ‘Yesterday Is Gone’.

The track is the first new music to arrive this year from sessions for his forthcoming debut album – details to be announced soon.

The Scottish singer-songwriter wrote ‘Yesterday Is Gone’ as well as produced the track alongside regular collaborator Rich Turvey (Blossoms, The Coral).

Dylan commented, “‘Yesterday Is Gone’ was recorded in Liverpool a couple of months ago and I’m looking forward to playing it live. It’s a bit different for us – I was listening to a lot of synth film soundtracks at the time.”

The former busker grew up in a foster home in Glasgow and became a young man inspired by much older artists such as Bob Dylan, Leonard Cohen and especially Johnny Cash.

Already an artist’s artist, he has received support from Gerry Cinnamon from the very beginning and has also been invited to support the likes of Liam Gallagher, Sam Fender, Stereophonics and, most recently, DMA’S on their UK national tour.
