This year has seen Central Cee continue his rise from the UK’s leading rap talent to an international music force. His collaboration with Dave, ‘Sprinter’, became the first UK rap track to reach a billion streams on Spotify.
Earlier this year he made history again when ‘Can’t Rush Greatness’ debuted at No.1 in the UK and No.9 on the Billboard 200. It became the first UK rap album to ever reach the US Top Ten. The album saw nearly 20 million Spotify streams on its first day and topped charts in Germany, Ireland, the Netherlands and New Zealand. It has now passed one billion streams worldwide.
Central Cee’s impact also stretches beyond music. His creative presence in fashion, design and visual direction continues to grow. His SYNA brand made a major mark at ComplexCon 2025 with an immersive installation and new partnerships with Nike, G SHOCK, BAPE x Spotify and others. The launch was supported by a COMPLEX cover story created with Daniel Arsham.
With ‘BOOGA’ Central Cee opens a new chapter driven by sharp lyricism, confidence and the energy that has carried him from Shepherd’s Bush to international stages. The single acts as both a statement of intent and the beginning of what comes next.
