cast music news

Cast have shared new single ‘Free Love’, take from their forthcoming album ‘Yeah Yeah Yeah’, due out on 30 January 2026 via Manchester indie label Scruff Of The Neck.

2025 has given the band a rare opportunity to simultaneously reflect on their storied past and look confidently towards the future. Between their run of stadium shows with Oasis and filling venues with their current ‘All Change’ tour, they’ve treated fans to classic songs that made them Platinum-certified Top 10 regulars in the ‘90s.

More recently, new songs ‘Poison Vine’, ‘Way It’s Gonna Be (Oh Yeah)’ and ‘Calling Out Your Name’ have earned extensive airplay and renewed media attention, showing that the new album, ‘Yeah Yeah Yeah’, is set to mark a second peak for the reenergised Cast. The excitement has been further amplified by the latest single, ‘Free Love’, which combines anthemic hooks with stirring strings and a gloriously straightforward message: “All I need is a love that’s going to set me free.”
