Bastille have unveiled captivating new single, ‘Save My Soul’, their first original new music in three years.
Fresh off the back of their sold-out From All Sides UK arena tour, the band found themselves reconnecting in the rehearsal room, and that quickly sparked something new. The buzz of being in the same space again ignited what would become their latest high-energy release.
What started as a spontaneous burst of creativity during those early rehearsals soon grew into a highlight of their arena sets. Debuted on the tour’s opening night, the track’s infectious chorus instantly resonated with the crowd, swelling into one of the most explosive reactions of the entire show.
Performed across the tour, ‘Save My Soul’ quickly became a fan favourite, a big communal sing-along at each show alongside the band’s seminal hit, ‘Pompeii’.
Bastille’s frontman, Dan Smith said, “We hadn’t really thought of working on new music, but “SAVE MY SOUL” came about from us all hanging out and rehearsing for these gigs recently. We’ve really loved playing it at these shows and are really excited to be releasing something new. It’s been a while.”
Sonically reminiscent of Bastille’s Wild World era, the single radiates joy and energy while also delving into feelings of vulnerability, human connection, and self-examination that strike a chord with fans.
