ARCHITECTS have unveiled new track ‘Dead Butterflies’, the third single to be lifted from their forthcoming ninth studio album ‘For Those That Wish To Exist’.

The release is accompanied by an official music video, filmed at the iconic Royal Albert Hall in London. The full performance, which was streamed live in November last year, received high critical acclaim and set live-streaming records for the genre.

‘Dead Butterflies’ follows previous singles ‘Black Lungs’ and ‘Animals’ – both tracks clocked-up an impressive 18M+ streams.

The self-produced record will be the follow-up to the British metalcore band’s critically acclaimed 2018 release ‘Holy Hell’ and feature guest appearances from the likes of Parkway Drive’s Winston McCall, Royal Blood’s Mike Kerr and Simon Neil of Biffy Clyro.

The Brighton quintet’s principal songwriter Dan Searle commented, “This album was me looking at our inability to change to a way of life that would sustain the human race and save the planet…I wanted to look in the mirror and ask ourselves the question of what are <we> going to do, as opposed to trying to point the finger at politicians. Change has to start on a personal level. The world has developed a culture of wanting someone else to deal with it, when we need to take our own responsibility. It has to start there.”
