Alter Bridge will also make a monumental return to Wales next summer with the launch of their inaugural Blackbird Festival. The brand-new event looks set to make a lasting mark on the rock calendar with the global rock heavyweights headlining alongside Skindred, Florence Black, Cardinal Black plus more TBA.

“We realised we haven’t played Wales in over seven years,” says Myles Kennedy. “To make up for lost time, we thought it would be cool to do something extra special. So with that said, we are stoked to announce The Blackbird Festival. Not only does this commemorate 20-plus years of being a band, but it’s also a way to show our appreciation for the fans in Wales who’ve patiently waited for our return.”

The acclaimed rockers will release their self-titled, eighth studio album on 09 January 2026 via Napalm Records.

‘Alter Bridge’ was recorded over two months this Spring in the legendary 5150 studio in California and Elvis’ recording studio in Florida, and features 12 brand new tracks.
