The Struts New Single ‘Primadonna Like Me’

The Struts have released brand new single ‘Primadonna Like Me’, complete with an irresistibly catchy chorus and disco-drenched melody.

Frontman Luke Spiller commented, “’Primadonna Like Me’ was written about my stage character, my alter ego. It’s this completely deluded guy running around his small town, all dressed to the nines—a full-on 21st century dandy going around saying, ‘Don’t you know who I think I am?’”

The track follows the band’s recent single ‘Body Talks’, which is already making its way up the charts with plenty of airplay in the US. Both tracks will appear on The Struts forthcoming album, the follow-up to their 2016 debut ‘Everybody Wants’.

The rockers have fast established themselves amongst some of rock and roll’s greats, opening for the likes of The Rolling Stones, The Who and Guns N’ Roses. The four-piece were also hand-picked by Mötley Crüe as support for their last-ever performances.

In addition, The Struts recently completed a tour supporting Foo Fighters including two performances at Madison Square Garden. Luke Spiller duetted with the Foo’s each night on their version of Queen & David Bowie’s iconic hit ‘Under Pressure’.

The band is currently gearing up for an extensive headline tor and are due to announce a run of highly anticipated UK shows very soon. The dates will follow their epic set on the main stage at this year’s Download as well as sold out headline gigs in London and Manchester.

The Struts first formed in Derby in 2012, with band members including Luke Spiller as lead singer, Adam Slack on guitar, Jed Elliott on bass and Gethin Davies on drums.
