Sarah Darling Teases New Single ‘Wasted’

Widely considered as one of the brightest new stars in the country music scene, Sarah Darling has teased new single ‘Wasted’ ahead of her upcoming UK & Ireland tour.

The song will be the first to be released from her recording session with producer Mark Bright, renowned for his work on multi-platinum albums by Rascal Flatts and Carrie Underwood. The track was written by Sarah shortly after her move to Nashville alongside country hit songwriters Josh Osborne and Mark Beeson.

Fans were first introduced to ‘Wasted’ after the singer previewed the emotional song at her sold out London show at St Pancras Old Church. She commented, “’Wasted’ is a track that is particularly personal to me as it deals with the emotional distress addiction causes for everyone. It’s not just the person abusing but also the people around.”

The BCMA Awards ‘International Touring Artist of the Year’ is scheduled to return to the studio to complete her new album in time for a 2018 release. It will be the follow up record to her highly acclaimed third studio album ‘Dream Country’ as well as the first to receive a full UK release.

Sarah has already toured with the likes of Carrie Underwood, Kacey Musgraves, Vince Gill and Tim McGraw in the US and performed at the infamous Grand Ole Opry over of 80 times. In addition to her own headline shows in the UK, she has opened for Ward Thomas as well as taken to the stage at the Country to Country music festival in both 2016 and 2017.

Sarah Darling will release her new single ‘Wasted’ on 02 March 2018.
