Muse Release New Single

Muse have dropped their brand new single ‘Thought Contagion’ with accompanying music video.

The video was directed by Lance Drake, who previously worked with the band on the visuals for ‘Dig Down’. The infectious 80s neon love story complements the track’s theme and admittedly can’t help but remind us of Thriller! WATCH IT HERE:

Muse frontman Matt Bellamy commented on the new release, “The meaning of the song ‘Thought Contagion’ is about how other people’s thoughts, ideas and beliefs can sometimes infect your mind, get into your head and change the way you think yourself.”

The band, made up of Matt Bellamy, Dominic Howard and Chris Wolstenholme, took home the NME Award for Best Festival Headliner at last night’s ceremony. This follows their incredible live set at Reading & Leeds festival last year where they were joined on stage by AC/DC’s Brian Johnson to perform a special rendition ‘Back In Black’.

Muse’s last album ‘Drones’ was released in June 2015 and debuted at No.1 in 21 countries worldwide as well as earned them their first No.1 album in the US. The album’s success also won the trio their second Grammy for Best Rock Album in 2016, adding to their long list of music accolades including an American Music Award, five MTV Europe Music Awards, two Brit Awards and ten NME Awards – to name just a few!

Considered by many as one of the best live bands in the world, they have released seven studio albums and sold 20 million albums since they first formed back in 1994. We can’t wait to see what they have in store for us this year!
