MGMT New Album Little Dark Age

MGMT have announced their fourth album ‘Little Dark Age’, due out for release on 09 February 2018.

In addition, the duo has dropped a video featuring a behind-the-scenes glimpse at the making of the music video for the album’s title track, which also happens to be called ‘Little Dark Age’ – WATCH IT HERE:

Since first forming in 2002, Andrew VanWyngarden and Ben Goldwasser went on to release their highly influential, Grammy-nominated debut album ‘Oracular Spectacular’ in 2007, which gave the world hits like ‘Electric Feel’, ‘Time To Pretend’ and ‘Kids’. This was later followed-up by ‘Congratulations’ in 2010 and a self-titled album in 2013.

After teasing in-studio images and snippets of new music via Instagram towards the end of last year, MGMT confirmed their return with news of an extensive tour across Europe and North American. The European leg of the tour included a headline date at London’s Electric Brixton, marking their first UK performance since playing Glasgow in 2014.

Joining forces with band to produce their new highly anticipated album include Chairlift’s bassist Patrick Wimberly and long-time collaborator Dave Fridmann, known for his previous work with the likes of Flaming Lips, Spoon and Tame Impala.

The psychedelic rockers have also dropped the lyric video for ‘Hand It Over’ as well as visuals for their track ‘When You Die.’
