Prior to its release the super talented multiplatinum Brit Award-winning star explained in an intimate video announcing her return that she had drawn upon her recent struggles and journey in her latest body of work, with personal stories inspiring each of its featured tracks.

FIVE FAST ARTIST FACTS:

  1. Not only is her real name in fact Jessica Ellen Cornish, but she’s admitted that the ‘J’ in her stage name has no significant meaning and that she just liked the sound of it.
  2. She wrote the massive Miley Cyrus hit ‘Party in the U.S.A’.
  3. She is the first British female solo artist to have six songs from one album reach the top 10.
  4. Prior to her solo stardom Jessie J was in a girl group for two years called ‘Soul Deep’.
  5. She originally penned ‘Do It Like a Dude’ with the hopes that Rihanna would sing it, however her record label insisted she keep it for herself – and boy are we glad she did!
