The Blinders ‘Brave New World’ Video

The Blinders have shared the video for new single ‘Brave New World’, lifted from their debut album ‘Columbia’, due out for release on 21 September 2018.

The album will also include hit singles ‘L’Etat C’Est Moi’ and ‘Gotta Get Through’, which spent an impressive five weeks at No.1 on Amazing Radio. CHECK OUT THE VIDEO HERE:

The album’s cover art dons band frontman Thomas Haywood in the same tribal warpaint he wears for live shows, where he embodies the fearless persona of Johnny Dream. ‘Columbia’ was produced by Gavin Monaghan, who has previously worked with the likes of Editors, The Sherlocks and Goldblade.

Growing up in Doncaster, the trio is made up by childhood friends Haywood on vocals and guitar, Charlie McGough on bass and Matt Neale on drums. Their music is heavily inspired by local heroes Arctic Monkeys as well as other influencers such as Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds, Kanye West and The Wytches.

The alt rockers will be headlining the BBC Introducing Stage at Reading and Leeds Festivals before heading to the Tim Peaks stage at Festival No.6. The Blinders will then embark on a 22-date UK tour in October/November, which will include stops in Manchester, Leeds, Liverpool, Cambridge and Hull.
