Reverend & The Makers have announced a trio of UK shows for October, which will see them take to the stage in Leeds, Nottingham and Liverpool.

The Sheffield rock’n’roll radicals acclaimed new album ‘The Death Of A King’ debuted at No.11 on the UK charts. This made it their highest charting album since their debut in 2007 as well as their sixth studio album to date to enter the Top 20. Their previous releases include record ‘The State of Things’, ‘A French Kiss in the Chaos’, @Reverend Makers’, ‘Thirty Two’ and ‘Mirrors’.

The band recently played two special intimate shows in London and Sheffield, where they were accompanied on stage by a string & brass section and Gospel choir. Jon McClure commented on the shows saying, “We are really excited to bring our songs to fans in an intimate setting and present them in a way that they have never been heard before and possibly never will again…it’s definitely going to be very special.”

The band, made up of Jon McClure, Ed Cosens, Joe Carnall , Laura McClure and Ryan Jenkinson, will also be playing various festival dates this year. This will include appearances at Warrington’s Neighbourhood Weekender, Manchester’s Castlefield Bowl, Sheffield’s Tramlines and Portsmouth’s Victorious Festival.
